What areas do you serve?
We are based in Amarillo, TX and serve customers from across the Texas Panhandle including Canyon, Bushland, and surrounding communities. If you’re looking for professional auto detailing, paint correction, ceramic coating, window tint, or PPF, bring your vehicle to our shop.
How do I get an estimate?
The easiest way is to call us at (806) 680-6466 or submit a request through our website. It helps to include your vehicle’s year, make, and model along with the services you are interested in. For paint correction and coating work, we may want to see the vehicle in person to assess the paint condition before providing a final quote.
How far in advance should I schedule?
We recommend reaching out as early as possible, especially during spring and summer when demand for services like window tint and ceramic coating tends to increase. For most services, booking a week or two ahead is a good guideline, though availability varies.
What does a paint correction include?
Paint correction is a multi-step machine polishing process that removes imperfections from your vehicle’s clear coat. This includes swirl marks, fine scratches, water spots, oxidation, and bird etching. The number of steps depends on the severity of the defects and the results you want to achieve. The end goal is a smooth, glossy surface with even light reflection.
How long does ceramic coating last?
The longevity of a ceramic coating depends on the specific product used, how the vehicle is maintained, and the conditions it is exposed to. Professional-grade ceramic coatings are designed to last significantly longer than traditional wax or sealant. We can discuss the options and expected performance during your consultation.
What types of vehicles do you work on?
We work on all vehicle types — sedans, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, muscle cars, classic cars, and exotics. Whether it is a daily driver or a weekend showpiece, we tailor our approach to the specific paint system and your goals.
Do I need to prepare my vehicle before bringing it in?
We handle all the preparation as part of the service. That said, removing personal items from the interior before a full detail can save time. For exterior services like paint correction and ceramic coating, we recommend avoiding automated car washes for at least a week beforehand so we can accurately assess the paint condition.
What factors affect pricing?
Several factors influence the cost of our services: the size of the vehicle, the current condition of the paint, the specific services requested, and the level of correction or protection needed. A compact sedan requires different time and materials than a full-size truck or SUV. We provide detailed estimates after evaluating your vehicle so there are no surprises.
How long do services typically take?
Timing depends on the service. A full exterior detail takes significantly less time than a multi-step paint correction followed by ceramic coating application. Some services can be completed in a single day, while more involved work like paint correction with coating may require the vehicle to stay with us longer. We will give you a clear timeline when we provide your estimate.
Is window tint legal in Texas?
Texas law allows window tint on the front side windows as long as it allows more than 25% of light through. Rear side windows and the back windshield can have any tint darkness. The windshield can have tint along the top 5 inches or above the AS-1 line. We install tint that meets Texas regulations and can help you choose the right level of darkness for your needs and legal requirements.
Do I need paint correction before ceramic coating?
In most cases, yes. Ceramic coating bonds permanently to your clear coat, which means it locks in whatever is underneath it — including swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation. If you skip paint correction and go straight to coating, those imperfections will be sealed under the coating and visible for its entire lifespan. We inspect every vehicle and let you know whether correction is needed before applying ceramic coating.
What is the difference between ceramic coating and PPF?
Ceramic coating and paint protection film (PPF) protect your paint in different ways. Ceramic coating is a liquid layer that bonds to the clear coat and provides UV protection, hydrophobic properties, chemical resistance, and enhanced gloss. PPF is a physical film that absorbs impact from rock chips, road debris, and scratches. Ceramic coating does not prevent rock chips, and PPF does not provide the same self-cleaning or UV resistance. Many of our customers combine both — PPF on high-impact areas like the hood and bumper, and ceramic coating over the entire vehicle — for complete protection.
Is ceramic coating worth it in Texas?
For vehicles in the Texas Panhandle, ceramic coating is one of the most practical investments you can make. The intense UV exposure in Amarillo accelerates paint oxidation and fading. Blowing dust and sand scratch unprotected surfaces. Hard water leaves mineral deposits that etch into clear coats. Ceramic coating directly addresses all of these issues — blocking UV, making dust easier to rinse off, and preventing water spots from bonding to the surface. Compared to reapplying wax every few weeks, a single ceramic coating application provides years of protection with far less maintenance.
What is the best window tint for Texas heat?
Ceramic window film offers the best heat rejection for the Texas Panhandle climate. Unlike dyed films that fade over time or metallic films that can interfere with electronics, ceramic film blocks a high percentage of infrared heat energy while maintaining excellent clarity and signal transparency. For Amarillo drivers dealing with summer temperatures above 100 degrees, ceramic tint makes a noticeable difference in cabin comfort and reduces strain on your air conditioning. We carry multiple ceramic film options and can help you choose the right balance of heat rejection, darkness, and budget.
How do I maintain my ceramic coating?
Proper maintenance keeps your ceramic coating performing at its best. Wash your vehicle regularly using a pH-neutral car wash soap — avoid dish soap or harsh detergents that can degrade the coating. Use the two-bucket wash method or a foam cannon to minimize the chance of introducing new scratches. Avoid automated car washes with spinning brushes. Dry with a clean microfiber towel or forced air blower. Beyond that, ceramic coating does most of the work for you — its hydrophobic surface sheds dirt and contaminants so your washes are quicker and easier than on uncoated paint.
Can you remove swirl marks without paint correction?
No. Swirl marks are physical scratches in the clear coat, and the only way to truly remove them is through paint correction — a machine polishing process that levels the clear coat surface. Products marketed as “swirl removers” or glazes typically use fillers that temporarily mask the appearance of swirl marks, but the scratches return once the filler washes away. If you want swirl marks permanently removed, professional paint correction is the only solution.
How long does window tint last?
The lifespan of window tint depends heavily on the type of film and the quality of installation. Professional-grade ceramic and carbon films typically last 10 years or more without fading, bubbling, or peeling. Lower-quality dyed films may begin to discolor or bubble within a few years, especially under the intense Panhandle sun. Proper installation in a controlled environment is critical — poorly installed tint fails far sooner regardless of film quality. All of our installations use professional-grade films backed by manufacturer warranties.
Does paint correction damage my clear coat?
When performed correctly by a trained technician, paint correction is safe for your vehicle’s clear coat. The process removes a very small, controlled amount of clear coat material to eliminate imperfections. Before starting, we measure your clear coat thickness with a paint depth gauge to determine how much correction is safe. Modern factory clear coats are designed to withstand professional correction. The risk comes from inexperienced work — using too aggressive a compound, applying too much pressure, or skipping paint thickness measurements. That is why professional correction matters.
What is the difference between a car wash and a full detail?
A car wash cleans the exterior surface of your vehicle — soap, water, rinse, dry. A full detail is a comprehensive cleaning and restoration of every interior and exterior surface. Exterior detailing includes decontamination, clay bar treatment, paint enhancement, and protection. Interior detailing includes deep vacuuming, steam cleaning, leather conditioning, dashboard treatment, vent cleaning, and odor removal. A car wash takes 15 minutes. A full detail takes four to eight hours. The results are dramatically different — a detail addresses months of accumulated grime, embedded dust, and surface damage that regular washing cannot touch.
